Developed as a client commission, the YOYOLIGHT chandelier transforms the project from product to service. Built from modular 3D-printed components, it adapts to different spaces and needs.
YOYOLIGHT Chandelier – Modular 3D-Printed Lighting
The YOYOLIGHT chandelier was developed in response to a client commission, illustrating how the project can evolve from a ready-made product into a customized service. While the standard YOYO lamp is conceived as a self-standing design object, the chandelier shows the system’s ability to adapt to specific spatial and functional requests.
The design is based on the same principle of 3D-printed modular components, fabricated in PLA and assembled to create larger and more complex lighting structures. By combining and varying these elements, multiple configurations become possible—from compact compositions to expansive chandeliers—demonstrating the scalability of the system.
This project highlights a secondary axis of development within YOYOLIGHT: not only a collection of products available through the micro-factory and e-shop, but also a service of customization and co-creation, where design and fabrication respond directly to individual needs.
