This proposal envisions a permanent artwork for the future Castellane metro station in Marseille. Conceived as a stabile — a freestanding sculptural structure — the piece combines abstraction, symbolism, and references to the urban context.
The design draws inspiration from the station’s location and its cultural identity. One part of the work reflects the idea of a network, evoking the invisible flows of the transport system, while another refers to the nearby fountain of Place Castellane, reinterpreted through an abstract graphic motif.
