OS.19 is the nineteenth iteration of the Onsite furniture concept. Commissioned for Strelka Bar in Moscow, it was produced locally from digital files and standard TPC tubing, showing how the system adapts through distributed fabrication and site-specific integration.
Onsite Prototype No. 19 – Strelka Bar, Moscow
OS.19 was an ephemeral installation commissioned for Strelka Bar, Moscow, by invitation of The July 16th. The project was conceived to complement the seasonal programming of the bar, adding both a functional seating element and a striking spatial presence.
Strelka Bar forms part of the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design, located along Bersenevskaya Embankment in Moscow. Known as a hub where culture, design, and urban debate intersect, it functions as both a bar-restaurant and a gathering place for the city’s creative community.
For OS.19, the installation was fabricated entirely on site. Instead of transporting structures from France, the design files were transmitted digitally and produced locally, using standard steel components and corrugated TPC tubing sourced in Moscow. This process highlighted the potential of the Onsite system to adapt through distributed, file-based production, enabling both efficiency and contextual relevance.
