OS.07 marks a turning point in the Onsite series. Presented at the Instant exhibition by Designed in Brussels in the *Galerie Ravenstein, the installation combined seating, gathering, and integrated lighting within tubular profiles, transforming the dark space into a luminous environment.
For the first time, the project employed steel structures composed of profiles and junctions. This constructive system allowed in-situ variations, with seating profiles — with or without backrests — connected through transitional elements to create smooth interpolations and diverse forms.
The steel framework inaugurated here became a foundation for later works such as OS.10 and OS.20, confirming OS.07 as a key step in the evolution of the series from furniture object to spatial environment.
