OS.04 was developed as a private commission, offering an opportunity to test a more programmatic approach within the Onsite system.
The design explores the interpolation between three core functions — sitting, resting, and eating — through a continuous geometry that adapts fluidly to shifting modes of use. Rather than assigning fixed forms to each function, the piece proposes a gradient of postures, allowing the user to transition intuitively between them.
This prototype deepens the conceptual framework of the Onsite series by demonstrating how furniture can respond to lifestyle rather than dictate it — and how public or domestic space can be activated through flexible, non-prescriptive design
