Description
Collective benches for La Plateforme in Marseille, built from reclaimed corrugated steel sheets recovered on site.
About
As part of the new La Plateforme campus in Marseille, a former industrial hall was activated as a community space before construction. For this temporary venue, benches were built from reclaimed corrugated steel sheets recovered on site, fixed into place with four CNC-cut wooden side pieces.
Serving both as collective seating and spatial dividers, they turned raw construction material into convivial furniture. The project highlights the architectural and social potential of reuse and optimization.
