BenchMarks, Model A
One of three sculptural benches created for Spuiplein, The Hague, through innovative free-form bending techniques.
Designed and fabricated entirely in Marseille, the stainless-steel structure merges advanced craftsmanship with a contemporary vision of urban furniture. Each bench in the series reflects the architecture of a nearby building.
Model BMA engages with the adjacent public library and was conceived as a multifunctional public bench. It serves simultaneously as an open-air reading desk and a communal table, encouraging informal encounters and shared moments. With its generous curves and futuristic silhouette, it may well be the most advanced picnic table ever built ;)
